I am Bored!!!

I am so bored. My mom is working third shift so I do not get to see her or get to play much. I have even loss interest in chewing on my bone (what's left of it anyhow). I know it is only for this one week, but it is sure a long one.So maybe I will just lay her and count the bumps on the ceiling till she is back to her normal shift, and then I will get to play more and maybe she will feel bad for this week and get me a new bone. As you can see it is almost all gone.

Treats

My Uncle A and Aunt A got me a yummy treat. If mom would let me I would eat through the packaging. hehe

Such a tease with the treat. Just give it to me....please........

Mmmmm, it is yummy.
By bone of treats from my mom, it is full of all natural peanut buttery goodness.

This alas was not one of my goodies, it is for my mom. Wonder when she will open it up? Maybe I will get a taste...time will tell.
This mug says it all for my mom... thanks Aunt Ai.

Boy oh Boy What a Day!!!

My Christmas morning started out early. Mom and I headed to Grandma's house to surprise her with breakfast. It is a long car ride to Grandma's but it is sooo worth it.
Mmmmm, I just love all the different smells in the air. It may be 30 degrees outside but I will still stick my nose out for just a sec to get a whiff.

Aunt Mabel, it has been a while since we have seen her, she will be 9 years old this year. She is still beautiful and the gray makes her look distinguished. My two Aunts and I , this is as good as it gets when trying to get a pic of us. Just so much going on.
Awe. She pretends not to like me, but this pic proves otherwise.
Aunt Mavis and her new jacket from mom and me. She looks very warm and her Christmas bow was the finishing touch.
Grandma has the best yard to run and play in.
I am chasing Mabel, though I can not catch a Frisbee like she can, I can at least make it more challenging for her. He he.
Wow she can really catch some air with that Frisbee. This was so much fun. After visiting Grandma we headed up to Grandpap's house, which I have not been to for over 4 years.

Grandpap adopted a new friend. Duke. He is very handsome. We rough housed for a bit, I think he really liked my company.
Yeah, then he shared some of his treats with me. Look how tiny I am compared to him.
Ah, at last the long car ride home. I am so tired.Best Christmas Ever. Happy Holidays to everyone. I will be visiting soon, once I catch up on some well needed sleep.

And for the dog lovers in all of us, check out this sight.... http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=15113803

Thank You

Thank You Paco and Milo, it means so much to have such great followers across the globe. I am truly enjoying every new friend I meet along the way and love to be apart of the dog blogging world.

The award states that "This blog invests and believes the PROXIMITY - nearness in space, time and relationships!" In other clearer words, "These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers! Deliver this award to eight bloggers who must choose eight more and include this cleverly-written text into the body of their award."

I would like to pass the award along to some new viewers and followers. Thank you for following me and my mom in our journey through life.

Mommy had me posing in from of the tree today. We took many pictures, I love when it is picture time.
This is a close up of me, no flash so I did not loose my sight, yay. The lights show up better this way.

I can not wait til Santa comes and fills up under the tree. Maybe I will sneak a peak Christmas eve, just a peak.
My mommy posing with me, well trying too, I really just wanted to cuddle. Happy Holidays.

Bows; To wear or not to wear?

Do I look like a girl who wants to wear bows in my ears? Every time I go to get groomed I always come back with these tight things in my ears.

Usually as soon as I get home I do everything I can to get them off of me, but this time I actually liked the color they chose for me. Instead of some awe full bright color that clashes with my fur, they opted for a nice neutral color.
I liked it this time so I kept them on for 3 whole days. Which is a record for me. Would you wear bows?

Aunt Mavis' Sweaters

Aunt Mavis' sweater collection is HUGE. Every time I see her she has a new one on. Here she is sporting the newest to the collection, a blue, purplish with argyle!!

I would like to think that Grandma buys all these sweaters, but I know the truth. My mom is quite the culprit when it comes to keeping my little aunt nice and warm during the winter months.I do not need these sweaters for I have enough fur to keep me nice and toasty, so I am not too upset that mom spoils my Aunt, I do not want her to freeze.
But I must say, The pillow? really? must she have that spot on the couch? Oh well she can be Queen of her only little world. I know the truth. Mabel first...then me....then Mavis, as long as I know the ranking order. Lol.

More Snow

Oh boy oh boy the snow has gotten really deep out here. It is up to my chest, and I didn't even know it was supposed to snow. It is Ohio though I should have guessed.
Running through this snow really gives me a good work out. Wonder when I will get my new winter collar? Mom.....................................?

First Snow

Yay for snow, it is my favorite time of year.

My favorite field covered in snow, could not ask for a time to go out and play

I think I run faster in the snow? At least it feels like I do, I am super fast....
Whoa, I almost ran into mom I was running so fast. Good thing she got out of the way just in time. I can not wait for the real deep snow so I can go mountain climbing.

New Friends

New friends to fill the water filled tank in the corner of the room. The black moor is Chumley and the orange is Clarrise

And then the new one arrived just days later........ Carl the Snail. My mom and her bf spend lots of time just staring at these water dwelling creatures. I do not know what is so great about them, they do not give attention or love, like me. I will just have to wait it out, I was here first after all.

Fall walk at the Metro Parks

Look how beautiful I look amongst the leaves, I was so excited to be out on this wonderful day.
There was something in the trees, I just know it, but where is it. I can hear it and smell it......

What is it? A squirrel? That little thing is making all that noise, wow just crazy. Look at him go.

Here I am now posing by the crick bed, I love having my pictures taken especially on this bench, it is in such a nice place and so much going on around it I just sit and watch.

Now for a quick dip in the crick to get my paws wet and a nice drink of fresh water. But what's up a head...........what is that?

Looks like a very tall dog, but it does not come over and greet me, just stands perfectly still watching me. I got bored with it easily and headed on up the path.
What a wonderful walk, can not wait to go back again.
