My Salute to Dakota and Catching Up

My Sunday salute for Dakota. Mom is doing most of the howling (hehe) but I am trying my best and only could muster up barking. So here's to you Dakota my friend.

Do not forget to howl, bark or meow your salute to Dakota today. =)

I was tagged by Twix a few days back to play a game.
The rules are stated as such:
(why does everything have to have rules?)
1. Open your "My Photos" folder and select the 6th folder
2. Select the 6th photo in that folder
3. Post the photo along with the story behind it
4. Tag 5 of your friends to do the same thing
Sounds like fun, huh? You never know what might show up on someone's blog!!!
So, here is my picture:

This was my birthday and my new bed from my mom. =)

Do Not Forget!!
Ike is having his first Annual Summer Photo Contest and it ends tonight!!
The rules: email a photo of you that epitomizes summer - swimming, sunbathing, picnicing, eating wallymelon, whatever it is you do this fine time of year. Only one photo per animal (this rule can be broken if you have more than one photo that is totally pawesome - you will know if you can break the rule.)
All submissions must be in by 10:00pm CST on Sunday June 28.
My mom will pick the 5 finalists and then you will vote!
email: emilyandian @ gmail.com (take out the spaces)
Let the competition begin! Woot!

This is my submission of my doing what I love best, swimming after my wubba!

And here are my mom's first tomatoes! She has never grown anything before and look how well they are doing. I am very proud of her. =)

and this is what we saw in the sky this past Friday, how cool is that.

We have been so impressed with all the woos and howls, silent and spoken, that we have heard today. Thank you, Mason Dixie, we are sure that Dakota is wooing back to all of her furiends left behind.

Our mom wishes she could grow some tomatoes like those but the rabbits steal all of them - pesky critters.

Hi Mason,

Oh no - I only found out about the salute today and it is already Monday here in Auckland. I will try to do it (I don't howl!) and put it in my next post - I hope that will be OK, even though it's late!

WOW you have been very busy!

That was a great tribute to Dakota!

Thank you for the heads on up the contests. Your submissions are great!

Our mom LOVES fresh tomatoes and cucumbers but the Texas heat does not allow us to grow them well. Native Texans know the drill, us Yankees that moved here just end up wasting a lot of water with to veggies!

Sorry we have been away for so long. Things have been crazy around our house again.

Hey Mason! Great job how-arking or bar-owling! Mom tried to get me to howl but I don't really do that. Love your pic from the game. I will try to enter the contest.
Love and hugs,

Momma tried to video us howling but it would have just been a video of us looking at her weird.

But Momma did dream of Dakota this afternoon.

I love summer, except for it being so hot. So, maybe I don't like it so much.. I tried to howl too, but it was just a barkey-bark

I'm gong to think a howl for Dakota because I don't know how to howl. OK here I go: """"hooooooooowwwllll""""

Your tomatoes look great. We've tried growing tomatoes but the rabbits and squirrels eat them up before I could get to them!

Good luck in the contest.

Your mom's tomatoes need to have a chat with our mom's tomatoes. Check that - tomato, no "es".
